COMPARISON OF THE USE OF SUNDANESE LANGUAGE IN THE MAJALENGKA AND CIAMIS AREAS

This study seeks to explain the comparison of the use sundanese in th Ciamis and Majalengka areas, West java. As a language phenomenon, Sundanese has different characteristics in each region. Even so, sundanese has only one lugu language which was designed as a means of communication between many different speakers. The research methodology use was qualitative with a questionnaire technique, namely distributing questionnaires to 39 students from the Majalengka and Ciamis areas. The result of this study explain that sundanese speakers in the Ciamis and Majalengka areas rarely use lugu Sundanese in their daily communication; the the discovery of several vocabulary words that are the same but have different meanings (homonyms) with lulugu Sundanese in general
